Brittany Tynan-SiskBrittany began her dancing career at the age of 2 1/2 years in Denton, Texas and starred as a Baby Buffoon in her first Nutcracker performance one year later. She danced with the Festival Ballet and was taught by Victoria Hill and Hugh Nini at the Denton Ballet Academy until age seven. She then moved to Crystal Lake, Illinois where she had the opportunity to continue her training at the Judith Svalander School of Ballet. In additional to the training provided by Judith Svalander, she studied with Roger Turner, Edward Villela, Randy Duncan, Marek Cholewa, Bob Rizzo, Gus Giordano, Patsy Swayze and several company dancers from the Joffery Ballet of Chicago. As a member of the Judith Svalander Company, she was invited to perform an adjudicated work, Avanti, choreographed by Anne Newlin Holmes at the Jazz Dance World Congress in Buffalo, New York. The JSSB dancers advanced to the finals and won third place in the competition.

Brittany returned to Texas as a sophomore in high school and continued her dance training at the Denton Ballet Academy. She was selected to join the Denton High School Fillies Drill Team her junior year and then became a senior lieutenant. During her high school years, she choreographed and taught for the Fillies, Denton Ballet Academy, and for the Judith Svalander School of Ballet. Brittany began her Texas Christian University dance training in the fall of 2003 and completed her double BFA in Ballet and Modern Dance in 2007. In addition to the wonderful faculty at TCU including Elizabeth Gillaspy, Susan Douglas Roberts, Ellen Page Shelton, Diane West, Andrea Harris, and Li-Chou Cheng, Brittany has had the opportunity to perform choreography by Michelle Dexter, Christian Von Howard, Andee Scott, Fernando Bujones, and Alonzo King.
Brittany currently teaches all styles of dance including ballet, lyrical, jazz, contemporary, modern, tap, hip hop, and drill. She teaches master classes and choreographs throughout the DFW metroplex. Brittany has performed in numerous charity events such as DIFFA and the Crystal Charity Ball. She enjoys working with the lovely ladies of the Dallas La Fiesta De Las Seis Banderas every year. Throughout her years of training and performing, Brittany has danced in CinderellaSwan Lake, Giselle, and over 20 years in The Nutcracker. She is always striving to better herself as a dancer and teacher which inspires a fierce talent for training and creative choreography.
