Lisa Gerding Norman is a native of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where she started her dance training at a very early age at “All That Dance, Inc.” and continued training well into her college years. Norman is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, Hawaiian, tumbling, hip-hop, and cheer/drill. In high school, she was a three year member of the Varsity Pom Pon squad at Putnam City West High School. Following her studies at UCO, she successfully ran an independent dance program through local daycares in and around Oklahoma City. Upon moving to the Dallas area, Norman toured with “Mirror Image” as a principle performer. Norman choreographs for various events and groups around the Dallas area. With her vast training in Dance and Theater, Norman was one of the most sought after dancer/choreographers on the Industrial/Corporate show circuit. These performances open doors for Norman to explore music videos, commercials and print, which would launch her to the next stage of her career.

Lisa joined Preston Center Dance as a staff member in August, 2003 and is thrilled that the 2015-2016 dance year will be her 13th year with Preston Center Dance. She is very proud to be the instructor for the “Need To Dance” class and is honored to teach dance every summer at lake Texoma for the Camp Cavett Foundation annual summer camp hosted for kids with life-threatening illness. Lisa thoroughly enjoys teaching and inspiring all her dancers to embrace the love, passion, discipline and excitement of dance.button(1)
