Tiffany TynanTiffany Tynan began studying dance at the age of 3 in Denton, Texas under the direction of Hugh Nini of The Festival Ballet. After moving to a suburb of Chicago at the age of 10, she received her primary training in ballet, jazz, modern, tap, and lyrical at the Judith Svalander School of Ballet where she had the opportunity to perform in productions The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Hansel and Gretel, and Swan Lake. In addition to the training she received under Judith Svalander, she also had the privilege of studying under Edward Villela, Bob Rizzo, Gus Giordano, Roger Turner, Randy Duncan, Mel Tomlinson, and Jillana of Dance Aspen. Ms. Tynan attended Texas Christian University where she continued to dance and perform under Li-Chou Cheng, Elizabeth Gillaspy, Ellen Page Shelton, and the late Fernando Bujones. After graduating in 2002 with a degree in Sociology and Radio/TV/Film, Tiffany lived in Austin, Texas where she taught dance and performed with Ballet East Dance Company and Uprise! Productions. She then returned to the DFW area where she completed her 200 hr Yoga Teacher Certification.  In addition to teaching at Preston Center Dance, Tiffany regularly conducts Master Classes at various DFW high schools and performs occasionally in local benefits and productions such as DIFFA and the Crystal Charity Ball. She currently enjoys teaching Jazz, Tap and Yoga, in addition to her primary focus of Classical Ballet.
This will be Tiffany’s 10th year with Preston Center and she is very excited to continue sharing her passion for dance and yoga with her students.
